Description
They came over for dinner. Maria brought some materials for needlepoint and taught us how to do it. She left an empty canvas for Cathy to paint a design on it for her. Cathy and I wanted to learn needlepoint so we could make chair pillows for her parent's dining room chairs. This would be a present for their 50th anniversary. We had homemade Chinese food for dinner - shrimp toast, chicken with walnuts, dry-fried string beans, stir fry pork cubes with straw mushrooms and baby corn, coconut soup (dessert) and bought fortune cookies. Later we had tea, brownies and bought cookies.,Original entry title: Scott and Maria Burnham 1 23 74
