Description
Alison came over to pose for Cathy and then Rosemary came for dinner. This is the first time Rosemary met Alison. We had a Chinese dinner. On Tuesday, while shopping for ingredients in Chinatown in NYC, I met Virginia Lee. She is the co-author with Craig Claiborne of The Art of Chinese Cooking. She helped me buy some hard to get spices. The woman in the Country Kitchen store introduced us when she was having trouble understanding what I wanted. For dinner, we made beef lo mein, red wine sauce chicken, kung pao shrimp, dry-fried string beans and walnut date soup for dessert. They both slept over. Rosemary left after breakfast on Thursday.,Original entry title: Rosemary and Alison 2 19 29 74
