Description
Catherine (Catherine Murphy) was to be presented with the Skowhegan medal for painting. Merce Cunningham was awarded one for choreography and Paul McCarthy one for sculpture. The ceremony was held at Cipriani on Wall Street, NYC. I followed the official photgrapher around from time to time and took pictures of some of the groups she was photographing. This is one of those. I did happen to know Susan Shatter. See the previous four entries and the following two entries.
