Sunday Subject The topic of the resource at the Ochre restaurant in the National Gallery, London Description An account of the resource On Sunday we couldn't decide between going to the National Gallery or going to Kew Gardens. We had been to the National Gallery in the past but never to Kew Gardens. The weather was chilly and it was a bit to early for gardens so we decided to go to the National Gallery. We had a great t ime looking at amazing art. also our friend Cecily Langdale, (who was in London for the opening of Catherine's (Murphy) show at Sadie Cole) said to us if we didn't go to the National. Gallery she would never speak to us again. Anyway, The National Gallery has three restaurants, the Ochre being the most upscale one. We decided to treat ourselves. (which we do often) and. go to Ochre). We had overall the best meal we had in London. The food was delicious and imaginative. We got to talking with one of the waitstaff and told her how much we loved the food. She brought out the chef (not the head chef, but the second chef who was running the kitchen that day). We had a good talk about food and restaurants. I wrote down his name on my. phone but must have inadvertently ditched it. I wrote a message to the restaurant on Instagram but didn't hear back. Title A name given to the resource At the Cafe of the Dulwich Picture Gallery, London, February 25, 2023, Saturday, Subject The topic of the resource We wanted to see the Dulwich Picture Gallery, partly because it is one of the few John Soane buildings and because they were supposed to have a good collection. We also wanted to visit with Shannon and Jo. Description An account of the resource We saw some of the collection and Jo arrived before Shannon. We walked around the museum for a bit more and then decided we should get a table at the cafe since it was crowded. It took us a while to get a table. Shannon hadn't arrived yet because she had gone to a demonstration that had to do with drag and the public library. She arrived just after we ordered. We ate and talked, then instead of heading back to the gallery we stayed and talked with them (since we were having a good time and we probably won't see them for quite some time) almost until our taxi was due to arrive and pick us up. The Taxi driver who brought us out here (about an hour) from the hotel said he would pick us up when we were ready to head back. We planned to meet him at 3:30 PM.
