He ate dinner here with us and Ben Keddy (see last entry). He spent the nigh and left before we got up in the morning, because he had a meeting in NYC.]]> Ben came for a visit on his way from Sherburne, NY to College Park, MD. He arrived wearing a Spartan helmet from the movie "The 300". He told me he wore it all the way from Sherburne to here, and that getting gas and stopping at lights was pretty interesting. I ditched the photograph I took of him by accident, Thus a spartan helmet I got from the internet. I had gone out earlier to buy Mexican sandwiches for lunch, at La Cabineta. Ben and I brought our sandwiches and one for her, up back to Cathys (Catherine Murphy) Studio. She was working on her new painting "Flight". After lunch Ben and I went to Catskill Art & Office to pick up our drawings that were mounted on foam core for my show in Sweden. He left in the mid afternoon to continue his journey.]]> It looks as if Ben has Silly Putty in his hand and is transferring images from the newspaper.]]> 2006-12-25-27 Ben Keddy, , He came for Christmas dinner (see last entry + groups Christmas dinner, same date, + groups, Joyce, Cas, Tom-also same date). On the 13th Ben, Cathy and I went to Eugene Carroll's house to look over a few things. I inadvertently set the alarm off and we wound up being embroiled for about an hour, and finally just left with the alarm going. While Ben was here he workd on my haircut book (which I'm a little nervous I'm letting go down the tubes). On Thursday Ben and Cathy and I went back to Eugene's house, and then on Friday Ben and I went to the estate sale at Eugene's for a little while.]]> Ben got to our house at 8:30 AM and then we all went to the city]]> Ben came for some reason]]> Ben came up from Jersey City in order to go with us to T Space space the next day. (See July 8, 2017, Groups: Friends and Acquaintances)]]> I am not sure why Ben came to visit, but it might have had something to do with my birthday, which was the week before.]]> Ben came to pick up the furniture he had chosen from Eugene Carroll's house. Charlie Smith (see last entry) went with Ben to load up the furniture. He acciddentally set off the alarm and I called the alarm company and got information so they could turn it off by themselves, because I was at least a half hour away. After Charlie went home, Ben, Cathy, and I were supposed to go out for dinner with Sam Speers and Lisa Brawley. Unfortunately, Catherine's (Murphy) frozen shoulder was very painful, so we never got to dinner. We got take out Chinese food. Ben spent the night and left for Jersey City the next morning.]]> Ben came to visit, possibly for a specific reason?]]> I'll have to call Ben to see why he came by.]]> Ben came up last night to go to the Tom Friedman talk and dinner. I left the house around 3:45 and Ben arrived at about 5 o clock and picked up Cathy and brought her to Vassar. But on Saturday he spent a good part of the day sharpening pencils for Cathy (Murphy). We went out to dinner with Judy Linn. First to the Egg at the Culinary Institute of America. We didn't realize on Saturdays most of the stations at the restaurant are closed. So from there we went to Mizu Sushi restaurant in Hyde Park. He went home Monday morning.]]> Benjamin took us to the JFK airport on the 1st of May for our trip to Sweden. He stayed at our house until the 11th. We got back on the 9th and Ben picked us up at JFK.]]> Benjamin came stayed over so he and I could work on my chronicle website. The site has many mistakes and omissions. He has worked at home and had a list of issues. We go some things done and I came to understand more fully how we should proceed. I was able to get access to the old site before that site was separated into the two sites that are now in play. This will be very helpful because we can compare entry by entry the old site with the newer chronicle site. Something that I should have done as soon as the site was split into two sites. This is what I am going to have Ben do from home and it will be very time consuming. While checking on the differences we will be able to see what might have gone wrong technically in the split as well as check on what mistakes I had made initially. Also the way data was entered on the old site can be updated to the way it needs to be entered on the new site. Ben will make these corrections and changes as well as write down questions that he will ask me periodically. I, in the meantime will be entering new data with Simon Tosky's assistance when he is here (he is not here now). He is helpful mostly because he types so much faster than I do. I am also going over older CDs of scans of photographs for the site. I am making the files of photographs that were originally put on the site larger so when you click on the images they will come up somewhat larger than they do now. I am also doing some clean up of the older images. There are some photographs on the CDs that were not included on the sites so I am uploading those.]]> Ben arrived on January 3 and stayed until the 6st. See Ben Keddy January 3-6 in Visitors]]> Benjamin worked today. First he did his regular chores. Mostly he worked on our taxes.]]> On Monday morning he went to work in NYC. He stayed over night on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and worked in the city those days. This is an installing job, which he works at every month or so. On Friday he worked here. He did a few things including working in Cathy's (Murphy) studio, doing a few errands, and helping me revamp the cats litter box. We had to leave here before he was to leave to get our flu shots. He called to tell us he had locked the key to the house in the house. Luckily he found a way to get in so we could get in as well when we came home.]]> Ben came to work on my Haircut book.
