On Sunday we couldn't decide between going to the National Gallery or going to Kew Gardens. We had been to the National Gallery in the past but never to Kew Gardens. The weather was chilly and it was a bit to early for gardens so we decided to go to the National Gallery. We had a great t ime looking at amazing art. also our friend Cecily Langdale, (who was in London for the opening of Catherine's (Murphy) show at Sadie Cole) said to us if we didn't go to the National. Gallery she would never speak to us again. Anyway, The National Gallery has three restaurants, the Ochre being the most upscale one. We decided to treat ourselves. (which we do often) and. go to Ochre). We had overall the best meal we had in London. The food was delicious and imaginative. We got to talking with one of the waitstaff and told her how much we loved the food. She brought out the chef (not the head chef, but the second chef who was running the kitchen that day). We had a good talk about food and restaurants. I wrote down his name on my. phone but must have inadvertently ditched it. I wrote a message to the restaurant on Instagram but didn't hear back.]]>
Ruperta usually comes every two weeks to clean. Since we were in England when she was supposed to come here, this time there. were three weeks in between. ]]>
After doing some regular chores he went to the Dutch Barn (one of my studios) to spray Mint oil (to help keep the varmints away) and check the sculptures to make sure there wasn't any new issues. He has been spending the ret of the day working on our taxes to get them ready for the accountant.<br />
Last year we waited till the last minute and had to get an extension. I called Tracy Badgley (our accountant) the day before yesterday to ask her some questions and I also asked her if she noticed anything particular about this phone call. She immediately answered that it was March 5th.]]>

Catherine (Murphy) had a show at the Sadie Cole Gallery in London. The opening was in January and their dinner celebrating the exhibition was also initially scheduled for January. Catherine wasn't well so we had to call off our trip. The gallery called off the dinner. Catherine was well enough for us to go to London for the last week of the exhibition.]]>

We arrived in London about 8:00 AM. Neither of us slept much on the plane.<br />
So we wouldn't sleep that day we checked in at the Chesterfield Hotel. We then headed to the Sadie Coles Gallery to see Catherine's show. Peter met us there. Laura took us to lunch at Maison Francois. After lunch catherine and I went to the Courtauld Gallery. By the end of looking at great art we were totally wiped out and went back to the hotel. i slept for 10 hours that night.]]>
Daniel went to Hudson, NY, to pick up a Raymond Mason print he purchased from Stair Auction House. He came by for a quick visit on his way back home.]]>
