We have decided to have a party to celebrate. We went to Hudon to discuss the food with Mona at her and her partners store, Talbott and Arding, Cheese and Provisions. Mona worked with Alice Waters at Chez Panisse in Berkely, CA, and ran the kitchen for a nmber of years at the American Academy. We first came accross her when she catered a party at Polly Apfelbaum and Stan Allan's. She brought her assistant, Beth Hull, to the meeting at out house. Julee Whelin is a party planner. We met her at the reception after Pat Liefer's Funeral. Pat was Tim Liefer's wife. Scott is Julee's boyfriend who came along with Julee and it seems will be coming to the party to be of help to Julee. Scott knows Tim Liefer for quite some time because he used to date Maggie, Tim and Pat's Daughter, who died some time ago.nAfter talking in the house we all headed out to walk the grounds and make decisions to do with setting up and operating the party.
