In the morning we met (which took three hours but went very well. Then we were off to the Peter Freeman Gallery. Two blocks from the gallery someone pulled out of a spot (on Broadway) and smashed the side of our car. Phong Bui sent a photographer from the Brooklyn Rail to meet us at the gallery. He photographed Catherine and me for drawings of us that Phong needed to do. I had left 15 minted to get to a physical therapy appointment. Because of a few things I screwed up I wound up tense and walking 45 minutes in 95-degree heat. Luckily it did not do me in.
