<text>Gret and Levi have had a winter solstice party every year for the last 25 years. I don't remember what year we started coming to the party. It might be on this site, and if not, should be and hopefully will be. Catherine (Murphy) and I have usually met up with Tom Nozkowski and Joyce Robins at their house and followed them to Gret and Levi's. Even though it is not that far from their own house, it is hard to find. Tom and Joyce were going to the party early because Cas (Nozkowski), Hannah (Boz), and Rocket (Nozkowski) were going as well, and they had to leave early because Rocket's bedtime was 7:00PM. So we went by ourselves and got pretty close before we were lost. We drove around in the dark, up and down hills. We called Tom, and he was helpful until he wasn't. We were in front of someone's house when I turned around and saw another car. Assuming that these people could be looking for Gret and Levi's place, I drove up behind the car, got out of ours, and walked up to the car window. Mark Epstein was in the driver's seat. He said he could lead us to the party and did get us closer. We wound up on a hill to the side of a house that was not Gret and Levi's. As Mark and Arlene (and others) drove away, a large dog ran out of the house, followed by a large man. The man was quite helpful and told us exactly how to get where we were going. Mark was waiting for us a bit down the road. And we all got to the house fairly quickly from that point on. See the following five entries.</text>

His family has lived there for generations, so he owns about three buildings. He lives in is his studio and a house built by his grandfather. His wife is a journalist and was on location in Jerusalem at the time of our visit. Axel works in technology. After visiting for a while, we sat down for lunch. Jordi made us vegetable lasagna, and his son Axel made carrot salad. We brought a Princess Cake for dessert. I had read about these before we left for Sweden and wanted to taste it. Jordi insisted we take the remaining half with us. So we brought it to Richard Galloway's. There was also a selection of flatbreads, one made locally. We visited both of Jordi's studios, and he very generously gave us some prints. We mailed them home from the hotel in Stockholm. At a certain point, we had to leave to get to Richard Galloway's studio. See next entry</text>

If this site gets to stay active after I die (this possibility sits with Vassar College), eventually everyone on the site could be in this section.
