I wanted to get a haircut before we went to Boston. (see entry-Boston University, September 29 and 30th, 2025)You don't necessarily need an appointment at Barber Haus . there are a lots of barbers and either you can wait or have someone who is available. Matt had cut my hair before abnd I like th way he cuts my hair.
On September 10, John from Sterling Pump came to see what was going on with our water pressure. (see that entry). Bill came the day after on the 11th bu had to be called away or an emergency and said he'd be back the next day. After a while I called Veith and Bill came back this day. he had to put a grounding in the well house (there was extra elctricity hanging around). He also attached an outdoor outlet to an existing outlet so we could plug in a cat heating pad for the ne house for Toni (our cat) so she could keep warm. More about that another time.
Ben has a part time job in NYC. He goes into work for a number o days to hel install exhibitions. he stays here when that is happening because it is a convenient place to stay to commute to NYC. He got here late on Monday night. On his way hoe ho got a flat tire (I think I have the correct day) On Tuesday he had breakfast and dinner with us. Though on his way to work he had to get a new tire and the rim on his car fixed. On Wednesday he stayed in the city so got here latel. On Thursday he also had dinner with us.

Lieb brought the painting Cathy is doing of the rock walk up back to her studio and hung it up. He also undid most of the set up for that painting. She is working on the side of the driveway. After lunch he sharpened pencils for a new drawing Cathy started in her studio up bak. I’m A drawing of a TV tray.
This morning Lieb and Marivic moved all the plants from outside to the porch. There is a chance of frost tomorrow. They also switched the dining room. table for a dinner party we are having on the 17th o this month. I had a doctors appointment, so while I was out Lieb worked on #14 of the China Videos. Then later in the afternoon he went to Davies Hardware to buy some spikes. I had bought some earlier but decided they were too long. These were to be put in the ground and the tops painted red. Lieb and I put the spokes in so that Cathy (Catherine Murphy) could set up her chair in the same place next spring for her painting o the rock walk in ront of our house.

For the past couple of weeks I have had an intebnse infiltration of Yellow Jackets in my studio. I got the recommendation for Erlich from Christina Tenaglia, They had eradicated Yellow Jackets from her and Adrians house.
I worked upstaird in the studio a week ago or so and they flew around and kept b umping into me but luckily didn't sting me. Werner told me not to go into the studio for at least 72 hours because the poison will make them very aggressive.

We did a number of things today. He brought the trash cans back up from the road and threw out the new trash. He changed the door near the kitchen from screen to glass. He brought the section of my CV about film festivals up to date so i could use it to apply for a research grant from school (Vassar). He fixed my film -"Activation ", and helped me send it to Katie Rashid. e fixed the speaker for Cathy's (Catherine Murphy) phone so she could listen to recorded books when she drew. We added a line to my statement for "Five Hotels" for Film Freeways. Then he worked on an image he had been working on for #14 of the China 1987 animation. he is doing a beautiful job with this. For lunch I made is a meatloaf, bacon and cheese sandwich with a sauce I made. The meatloaf was left over.

They set it up and Tim moved moved the outlet and put it through the bottom of the house. We put Toni in it, but she didn't stay very long and so far on Saturday she doesn't seem to want to stay in it very long. My guess is, that when it gets colder she willo be more patient with it. They came in for Tea, coffee, and cookies.
Along with helping Cathy (Catherine Murphy) we worked on a number of things. We finished up working on the film of my talk at Boston University.
We edited a Garden Video, Season's End, Out rom Under. He also worked a bit on #14, Peragrination.
We did lots of stuff. Put some videos onto Youtube, Credits for a couple of others. Lieb did some stuff for Cathy (Catherine Murphy). For the last part of the day Lieb finished an image he has been working on for #14, Peregrination of the China animations and it is so swell!.
Tim's idea is a variation on ideas both Cathy and I had, but better. He suggested building a small box in the house around the baseboard radiator and cutting a hole in Ton's house with a flexible tube connecting both. I thought if we had a way to close it off then we wouodn't have heat going there at night when Toni is in the house. He thing he can do this in about a week. Which is importnt since it is getting cold out. Just a few days ago Toni stayed in her house for more than a minute and also the next day started going into it on her own. I now give her friskies in her house.
