Mike DiGiacomio came over yesteday morning (I forgot to take his photograph) to concult about the pine tree, because Jason Cranston's guys rubbed bark off some large roots of the huge Douglas Fir and I was nervous about the damage. So we wanted to know if Tim had any specific ideas about hoew we night porceed. After talking with Mike and then Tim we decided we would still go with stone. The rest of the digging will have to be by hand - no more machine diging, not dug as deep, have a shallower layer of gravel and possibly go wit granote (which can be thinner without cracking) instead of bluestone. Jason came over later that day and we went over all of this with him. See next entry.]]> 2009-05-24 Tim Liefer, Tim came over after I got home from the graduation ceremony at Vassar.
