She had graduated from Vassar in Art History in about 1984 or 5. Jessie had gotten two history awards. By the time he realized he would have wanted to be a studio major it was too late to get the requirement done before he graduated. Daniel took many studio art courses and came to the studio critiques. The majors were pleased to have Daniel take part in the exhibition. He is the first non-major to take part in the senior show. For th many years we had met up with the art department graduates and their parents in front of the chapel. We didn't have any refreshments and not that many people showed up. And they didn't stay long. I decided to have refreshments this year and sent out an announcement that referred to the gathering as a reception. The attendance was many times greater, people stayed longer, and from what I could tell, people had a better time. For one thing having beverages on such a hot day was important. I hadn't ordered enough of anything. But I now know better for next year. See the previous three entries and the following seven entries.]]> Deena's Family.
