Rochelle's retirement party from Yale was Atelier Florian (in their second-floor event space) in New Haven, Connecticut. Yale made a reservation for Catherine (Murphy) and me at The Study, but we decided to go home instead of staying over. I collected all of the place cards with everyone's name on them and had them in order by table. I got up from my seat to speak to somebody about something, and the waiter came and took them away. So, I scrambled to find them and did retrieve them, but they were out of order. I brought them home and now can't find them. See the previous three entries and the following three entries.

Roger Lambert (Roger the plumber) came to put in a new kitchen faucet and check a few things in the basement to see why our water pressure was fluctuating so much. He didn't put in the faucet because Catherine (Murphy) didn't like the one i brought home. It was the only one they had in stock.
It took him the rest of the second day to finish installing the new sink in the kitchen. It turned out to be a very complicated operation.
It turned out to be a much larger jib than he and I thought it was going to be.

The pipes leading to the faucets were partly galvanized steel. The steel had to be replaced, which led him down to my studio. Finding the connections and the shut off valve was extremely difficult. He had to shut off the water from the well. Also, I had sculptures and a large drawing and many other things stored in the small room where the pipes were. We had to cover all of this up to protect the work. Roger got very tense and I kept reassuring him that he shoukd just keep working and not to worry it too much. I think it was frustrating for him and he was worrie about how much he would have to chsarge us. Which turned oiut to be quite a bit.

He reworked it with Rachel Sheinkin (who wrote the book for the show. Music and Lyrics were by Billy). We met up at Billy and Arthurs house before we headed out to see the show. See the following six entries.
