Lieb brought the painting Cathy is doing of the rock walk up back to her studio and hung it up. He also undid most of the set up for that painting. She is working on the side of the driveway. Marta Renzi called me this morning because she was worried about the leaves on the floor of the Rod House. She is planning to do and film a dance in that structure and heard it was supposed to rain that day. The leaves on the floor of the open-air structure are an integral part of the dance. If they got wet they wouldn't move around as well when the dancer moves. So Lieb was terrific and agreed to come over and rake up the leaves. He and I carried them on a tarp to the Dutch Barn to keep them dry until Marta and Rob came back the next time.]]>

In the morning he did stuff for Catherine (Murphy) including bring one part of a two panel painting she is working on. He brought it from her studio at the back of the property to her studio on the second floor of the house and set it up on the easel. In the afternoon we worked on a variety of films, editing and doing titles.]]>
Lieb mostly sharpened pencils for Catherine and with the remaining time we had left, we worked on the sound for Installment #13, specifically adding laughter for the flight attendants and Judith talking about my fitting in with my surroundings. I didn't sleep well the night before because I hadn't been able to find this Judith part and then other things started to plague me. It wasn't a full day because Catherine (Murphy) and I had to leave early to go to Gregory Amenoff's opening in Hudson. We also picked up some art supplies as well as four of my photographs that were mounted for my installation at Haddad's in Poughkeepsie at the Rhinebeck Artist's Shop.]]>

Today Lief spent most of the day working on the sound for Installment 12 of China 1987. I did a Zoom visit with Silvia (Rea Silvia Ferlozza). We worked together going over the sound and made decisions about what we had and where they might go. h and I ate lunch together.]]>
After Lieb did his regular chores he took 5 metal outdoor chairs to K&S Powder Coating in Poughkeepsie to be sandblasted and coated. We worked s good part of the day on the sound for China 1986 #13. In the later afternoon, he cleaned the sink in Cathy's studio up back. When that was done we worked some more on the sound.]]>
It was a rather hectic day. Lieb arrived at 9:30 AM instead of his usual 10:00 PM. This was so we could bring our car to have it detailed. Lieb emptied out the few things (it was more than I thought it would be) from the car before we left. I drove our car and Lieb his. We left mine at the detail Shop and I drove home with Lieb drove the 92" Volvo we had given him to test it. It almost stalled everytime we made a turn. We got back her and Lieb did a few things on the computer and took out the trash. He changed a light bulb in the kitchen. We had lunch together. Catherine (Murphy) was up in her studio drawing. Lieb and I took a large drawing of mine out of a storgae space in my studio because Roger the plumber was here working on water pipes and I was nervous about the drawing. Tim Liefer was also here. Lieb and I did some more stuff on the computer. He ordered som pencil erasers for Cathy. he and i cleared out items from near the windows so when marge and her crew came tomorrow at 8:00 AM they could start right away. In the afternoon we drove over to Sweedish Motors and left the 92 Volvo so mike could try and see why it was acting up. Lieb helped Tim move a clothes dryer, which Cathy used in a painting from her studio to the front of the property and put a sign on it saying in good condition and free. It was gone in five minutes. We got back to detail Lab at 5:00PM and oicked up my car. It looked brand new.]]>
Along with helping Cathy (Catherine Murphy) we worked on a number of things. We finished up working on the film of my talk at Boston University.<br />
We edited a Garden Video, Season's End, Out rom Under. He also worked a bit on #14, Peragrination.]]>
We did lots of stuff. Put some videos onto Youtube, Credits for a couple of others. Lieb did some stuff for Cathy (Catherine Murphy). For the last part of the day Lieb finished an image he has been working on for #14, Peregrination of the China animations and it is so swell!.]]>
He put away the tax stuff and left to go home.]]>
We had one of our varied days. Darren and Jean Pulver also came to work (see last entry). In the morning everyone moved the plants from outside to the porch and other places in the house. Lieb and I had roast beef sandwiches for lunch. Catherine did as well but made her's last night and brought it up to her studio. Off and on during the day Lieb worked on #15 of the China animations. When I was using the stationary bike, Lieb adjusted the hose and put water in the pond. ben Keddy is coming to spend the night tomorrow, so Lieb and I made the bed in the guest room. I had washed the sheets, pillow cases and spead. He tidied up a bit in Catherine's studio and pulled tape off the floor part of the subject for Field of Flowers. He took doen the trash and staked a few flowers before he left.]]>
The first thing we did was to bring in the plants from the garden. Lieb, Darren Puover, and myself. He went up to Catherine's (Murphy) studio with her and showed her how to use the earphones we had ordered. After lunch, he and I worked on Trailers for my Video that is being screened at the Video and Experimental Film Festival in NYC (more about this later). We sent in both of the ones we made and told them to use whichever one or both if they wanted to. In the later afternoon, Lieb and I put the velcro on the back of the four large photographs we're going to install at Haddad's in Poughkeepsie. This is going to be a new Local business Installation of mine.]]>
We did a number of things today. He brought the trash cans back up from the road and threw out the new trash. He changed the door near the kitchen from screen to glass. He brought the section of my CV about film festivals up to date so i could use it to apply for a research grant from school (Vassar). He fixed my film -"Activation ", and helped me send it to Katie Rashid. e fixed the speaker for Cathy's (Catherine Murphy) phone so she could listen to recorded books when she drew. We added a line to my statement for "Five Hotels" for Film Freeways. Then he worked on an image he had been working on for #14 of the China 1987 animation. he is doing a beautiful job with this. For lunch I made is a meatloaf, bacon and cheese sandwich with a sauce I made. The meatloaf was left over. ]]>
First thing in the morning Lieb and I went up to Cathy's (Catherine Murphy) with the Art Handlers, who were here to pick up Catherine's Painting Under the Table. We showed them where to set up and while they were wrapping the painting Lief and I boxed three working drawings for the to take as well. For the rest of the morning Lieb worked on the sound files for my China 1987 project. He went out to get all of us lunch at Haddad's. In the afternoon he did a few odds and ends as well as continued working on the sound files.]]>
