Elaine came to pose. Jon and Joy came over in the morning to see the things we bought yesterday (see last entry). After Elaine posed, Jon and Joy came back and all of us went to La Isla for dinner. It was even better than the last time we were there. We had Battita Guanabana, avacado salad and an assortment of small assorted desserts, all extra and at no charge. Delicious expresso was only 15 cents. The food was terrific.]]>

We were on our way to Joyce's opening in Hudson, NY. She is in a four-person exhibition at the Nicole Fiacco Gallery. The other artists are Deborah Davidovits, Robert The and Susan Wides. See the next two entries.]]>
Joyce's exhibition opening was from 5-7. I left school at about 3:10PM and headed home to pick up Cathy (Catherine Murphy). First I unset up for her painting in the back bedroom. Then at about 4:00PM we left to go to NYC for the opening. Traffic was so bad in the city that it took us three hours to get to the gallery. We arrived at 7:00PM. The bright spot was that we got a parking spot directly in front of the gallery. Cathy is still not up to walking very far (knee replacement). We stayed at the opening for about 45 minutes and headed back home. Joyce's show consisted of paintings and wall sculptures and looked terrific. See the following four entries.]]>
